Grief and Loss

If you experience grief and loss

Understand that...grief is a process . There is no right way to grieve -- each individual grieves in his/her own individual way.

Natural reactions to loss can include: denial & shock, physical symptoms, mood changes, emotional volatility, difficulty concentrating, sleep and appetite changes, guilt, depression.

This is a good time to use your support systems, friends, family.

It is helpful to maintain a balanced diet, get plenty of rest and exercise.

If you have difficulty coping after your loss, contact the Counseling Center.
